Calamari And Shrimp With Linguine Recipe
Ingredients
| Linguine package | 1 , cooked, drained | |
| 1 lb. squid, cleaned and cut into | ||
| Calamari | 1/4 inch | |
| Garlic | 2 Teaspoon, minced | |
| 1 lb. cooked and peeled shrimp | ||
| 12 ounces canned chopped clams, rinsed & drained | ||
| Italian tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz), pureed | |
| 2 Tbs. liquid Butter Buds or fat-free chicken broth | ||
| 1/4 -1/2 cup dry white wine or cooking wine | ||
| 2 Tbs. Hunts tomato paste | ||
| Oregano | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Basil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground black pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Red pepper | 1 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Lite salt | To Taste | |
Directions
In a large pot, combine tomatoes, 1 Tbs. liquid Butter Buds, or chicken broth, clams, shrimp, wine, tomato paste, basil, oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper.
Heat to a boil and reduce heat to simmer for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a non-stick skillet, saute garlic and calamari (squid) in 1 Tbs. liquid Butter Buds, or chicken broth.
Cook about 5 minutes or until done.
Add to the tomato mixture.
Simmer 15 minutes.
