Calamares Fritos Recipe
Ingredients
| 8 oz/225 g prepared squid, cut into rings | ||
| Plain flour | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 1 egg, size 3, beaten | ||
| Oil for deep frying | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Lemon slices to garnish | ||
Directions
Rinse and dry the squid.
Dust with flour, then dip in egg.
Heat oil to 350°F 180°C, and fry squid for 3-4 mins, or until golden.
Drain on kitchen paper.
Sprinkle with salt.
Serve hot with lemon slices.
