Ingredients

| Thyme | 2 Teaspoon, dried | |
| Cayenne pepper | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Sirloin steaks - 4 thick (l 1/2 pounds total) | ||
| Thick plain yogurt - 1 cup | ||
| Avocado | 1/2 | |
| Lettuce leaves - a few (such as Chicory or Red leaf) | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Pare the cucumber, slice lengthwise, and deseed.
2) Thin slice it crosswise.
3) Into a medium bowl,put the slices.
4) Make 2 halves of the bell pepper and remove seeds, and slice into strips.
5) Pare and mince the garlic.
6) Dice the tomatoes into cubes.
7) Now add the bell pepper, garlic, tomatoes, sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon salt to the cucumber.
8) Mix well, cover with lid and keep in the refrigerator.
9) In a cup, combine the paprika, thyme, cayenne, garlic powder and a pinch of salt.
MAKING
10) Evenly spread the mixture over the meat to coat.
11) Heat a large skillet over high heat until very hot.
12) Add the steaks and cook for 5 minutes on each side, until the spicy crust becomes crisp and dark.
FINALISING
13) Thinly slice the steaks by cutting.
14) Now arrange on a plate with the tomato-cucumber salad.
15) Swirl a dollop of yogurt on each salad.
16) Pare the avocado and cut into slices.
