Cajun Pork Cutlets Recipe
Ingredients
| Black pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Cayenne pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 tsp powdered oregano | ||
| 1/4 tsp powdered thyme | ||
| Ground ginger | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pork cutlets | 8 | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 , sliced | |
| 1 green pepper, in thick strips | ||
| 1 red pepper, in thick strips | ||
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Chicken stock | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), heated | |
| Honey | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Mix herbs and spices together. Rub half of mixture into meat.
Heat butter in large frying pan over medium heat. Add pork and cook 3 minutes on each side. Season with salt and remove from pan; set aside.
Add onion to hot pan and cook 3 minutes over medium heat. Add peppers and remaining spice mixture. Mix and cook 7 minutes.
Sprinkle in flour, mix well and cook 3 minutes.
Incorporate chicken stock and honey. Cook 5 minutes over low heat. Return pork to pan and simmer 2 minutes.
