Cajun Hamburgers Recipe
Ingredients
| Lean ground beef | 1 1/2 Pound | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| 1 large onion, chopped and cooked | ||
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), smashed | |
| Dijon Mustard | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Black pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cayenne pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper white | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Oregano | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Olive oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Beef Stock | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), heated | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Cold water | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Place beef in mixer. Add egg, cooked onion, garlic, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and mix several minutes to incorporate well. Shape mixture into 4 large patties. Set aside.
Mix spices and herbs together; set aside.
Heat cast iron pan over medium heat. When hot, pour in oil. Add spice mixture and cook 1 minute.
Add hamburgers and cook 8 minutes. Turn patties over 3 to 4 times during cooking.
Remove hamburgers from pan and keep hot.
Pour beef stock into same pan. Boil 3 to 4 minutes.
Dissolve cornstarch in cold water; stir into sauce and cook 1 minute. Pour sauce over hamburgers and serve with potatoes.
