Fresh Caesar Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Olive oil | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| 2 heads romaine lettuce, dried and torn into bite-sized pieces | ||
| Egg | 1 | |
| Lemon juice | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 2 ounce can anchovy fillets, chopped | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Parmesan cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 cups packaged garlic croutons | ||
Directions
Combine oil and garlic and let stand overnight.
In a large salad bowl, toss greens with oil mixture.
Add egg to greens and toss until well coated.
In a small bowl, stir lemon juice, Worcestershire, anchovies, salt and pepper.
Add to greens and toss again.
Sprinkle on cheese and croutons and toss lightly again.
Serve immediately
