Classic Caesar Salad Recipe Video

Ingredients

 
* roman lettuce or iceberg lettuce
 
* tofu
 
* nori
 
* 2 Tbsp lemon juice
 
* sea salt
 
* 1 Tbsp French mustard
 
* 1 Tbsp miso
 
* ½ tsp umeboshi paste
 
* balsamic vinegar
 
* 6 tsp olive oil
 
* shoyu (natural soy sauce)
 
* wholemeal bread
 
* herbs
 
* dried thyme
 
* soy milk

Directions

Cut the bread into pieces for the croutons and put into a bowl. Add olive oil, pinch of salt and dried thyme. Mix well and spread these in a baking tray. Put the baking tray into the oven for 15 mins at 180C.

Next prepare the dressing by adding all the ingredients one after another. Use a blender to blend the ingredients.

Now to prepare the salad cut the green leaves of lettuce. Place them in a bowl and add croutons and dressing. Toss well to serve.
