Caesar Salad Recipe
Time to pamper your palate with this Caesar Salad recipe. Best enjoyed as an Appetizer this recipe was taught to me by a dear friend who also happens to be a great chef. The most important ingredient in Caesar Salad is Cheese. Serve your family this delectable Caesar Salad today. They are gonna love it!
Ingredients
8 oz bacon, diced
4 bread slices, diced
Dressing
6 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp salt
1 tsp tarragon
Pinch of sugar
Pinch of pepper
Pinch of dry mustard
Drop of Tabasco sauce
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp parsley
1 tsp garlic, chopped
1 egg
2 heads of Romaine lettuce
3/4 cup fresh
Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup parsley, chopped
6 anchovy fillets,chopped
3 hard boiled eggs, quartered
Directions
In a frying pan, cook bacon until crisp.
Drain.
Set aside.
In bacon drippings, toast diced bread.
In a large bowl, mix dressing ingredients with a wooden spoon.
When ready to serve only, tear lettuce over dressing.
Sprinkle with Parmesan.
Add bacon and croutons.
Garnish with parsley, anchovies and quartered eggs.
Toss.
Drain.
Set aside.
