Cabbage With Bacon (Cavolo Alla Casalinga) Recipe
Ingredients
1 cabbage
salt and pepper
6 slices bacon
2 small onions, chopped
1 tablespoon vinegar
21/2 cups (625 ml) water
salt and pepper
Directions
Remove outer leaves and coarsely cut the cabbage.
Chop the bacon slices and cook until transparent in a large saucepan.
Add onions and saute until golden brown.
Add the cabbage, vinegar, water and salt and pepper to taste.
Mix wel Cover and cook for about 20 minutes.
Drain before serving.
