Ingredients

 
Cabbage - 4 cups, shredded
 
Tomatoes - 3 1/2 cup, chopped
 
Salt - 2 tsp.
 
Sugar -1 tsp.
 
Onion - 1 tsp., minced
 
Melted butter - 2 tbsp.
 
Cooked rice - 2 cup
 
Soft bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
 
Cheese - 2 tbsp., grated
 
Cabbage - 2 cups, shredded

Directions

MAKING
1) In a pot, add little water and heat.
2) Add in the cabbage and steam till crisp tender.
3) Drain.
4) In a saucepan, mix together tomatoes, salt, sugar, onion and 1 tablespoon butter and cook for 5 minutes.
5) In a casserole, layer the cabbage, tomato mix and rice.
6) Combine the crumbs, remaining butter and cheese and sprinkle over the top of casserole layers.
7) Place in the oven at 375 degrees and bake for 45 minutes.

SERVING
8) Serve hot.
