Ingredients

 Cabbage2 Cup (32 tbs), finely chopped
 Onion2 , finely chopped
 Green gram1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Moong Sabut/Paasi paruppu)
 Urad dal3 Teaspoon
 Mustard seeds2 Teaspoon
 Green chilly2 , slit lengthwise
 Curry leaves1 Tablespoon
 Grated coconut2 Teaspoon
 Turmeric powder2 Teaspoon
 Salt To Taste
 Oil50 Milliliter (For frying)

Directions

1. Heat oil in kadai, add the urad dal, mustard seeds and let the mustard splatter.
2. Add the onions,Green chilly, Curry leaves and saute for 2 mins. Add the green gram dal(paasi paruppu), turmeric powder saute and add little water. Cover and Cook dal for 5mins.
3. Uncover and add the chopped cabbage, salt and saute.
4. Cover and cook for 5mins. Uncover and saute till the extra water evaporates.
5. Add the grated coconut and saute for 2mins.
Cabbage saute quickly ready. Enjoy!!

Hi Jojo, I believe there are only 2 ingredients that you might not have understood, as it is an Indian recipe, so the chef might not have shared a globally renowned name. The 3rd ingredient "Green Gram" is actually Mung Beans and the 4th "Urad Dal" is the Black Gram (Split and washed, so it looks white). You will get all these ingredients in an Asian store which sells Indian stuff. Happy Cooking!
