Directions

Scald milk; add oleo, sugar and 1 teaspoon salt.
Cool until lukewarm.
Dissolve yeast, in warm water.
Beat egg with fork.
Add yeast and egg to milk while milk is still warm.
Add flour.
Chill at least 2 hours.
Let dough rise for at least 1 hour at room temperature.
Brown ground beef and onion.
Season with salt and pepper.
Cook shredded cabbage until tender.
Roll out dough thin.
Put drained cabbage and ground beef and onion mixture in colander; mix thoroughly.
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto dough.
Cut a 5-inch circle around the dough; pinch dough together until no meat shows.
Continue until all dough is used.
Put on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes until golden brown.
