Cabbage Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 small white cabbage | ||
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| 2 tablespoons olive oil with 1 tablespoon lemon juice | ||
| Chives | 1/2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Parsley | 1/2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Quarter the cabbage and remove the tough stalk.
Shred the quarters across the gram in very thin slivers.
Soak in ice cold salted water for a half hour to crisp.
Dry in a tea cloth.
Rub the bowl with the crushed clove of garlic.
Add shredded cabbage, chives, parsley, and seasoning.
Toss in the oil and lemon juice (or use the mayonnaise).
