Ingredients

 8 or 10 cabbage leaves
 1/4 lb. pork sausage
 Onion1 Small
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm)
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Paprika2 Teaspoon
 Rice1/2 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked
 Ground beef1 Pound
 1 pt. sauerkraut and juice
 Water to cover

Directions

Put the leaves in boiling water for 5 minutes or until wilted.
Brown sausage and chopped onion until lightly brown.
Add minced garlic and rice, remove from heat.
Thoroughly mix in ground beef and the rest of the spices.
Spread out the cabbage leaves and spoon the mixture of filling near the base of each.
Carefully roll up and secure with a toothpick.
Arrange rolls with fold down in a single layer in the bottom of a large kettle.
Spread sauerkraut, juice and enough water to cover.
Bring to boil, simmer for 2 hours.
