Ingredients

 
For the Kofta
 
Finely shredded cabbage 1 small sized
 
Finely minced onions 2 small sized
 
Coram masala powder 1 tsp
 
Chilli powder 1 tsp
 
Besan 1 cup
 
Salt as per taste
 
For the Curry
 
Large finely sliced onion 1
 
Cloves 2
 
Cinnamon stick 1
 
Cardamom 1-2 pods
 
Medium onion .1
 
Garlic 5 clovettes
 
Ginger I small piece
 
Jeera 1 tsp
 
Coriander seeds 1 tsp
 
Poppy seeds 1 tsp
 
Cashew nuts 1 tsp
 
Green chillies 4-5
 
Medium tomato 1
 
Chopped coriander leaves 1/2 cup
 
Yoghurt 1/2 tbsp

Directions

Make a smooth batter of all the kofta ingredients.
Fry the small round lumps of the batter in hot oil till they get brown and keep aside.
Fry the sliced onions in hot oil till they get golden brown.
Now add the masala paste and fry till the oil starts separating from the onions.
Add 1/2 tbsp of yoghurt to the masala and stir well.
Make a thick gravy of the masala mixture by adding sufficient water to it.
Add salt and cook for a while.
Add the deep fried koftas and put them to heat.
