Ingredients

 2 quarts shredded green cabbage
 Salt To Taste
 Light cream1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Butter3 Tablespoon
 Dash of ground nutmeg
 Pepper1

Directions

Cook cabbage in 1/2 inch of boiling salted water for 5 to 8 minutes, or until tender.
Drain.
Add cream and butter; heat slowly, stirring gently with a fork.
Add nutmeg, and salt and pepper to taste.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
