Cabbage Gratin Recipe
Ingredients
| Vegetable cooking spray | ||
| Green cabbage | 4 Cup (16 tbs), coarsely chopped | |
| 1 cup coarsely shredded carrot | ||
| Green onions | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Skim milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Gruyere cheese | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Caraway seeds | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 2 eggs, lightly beaten | ||
| Egg white | 1 | |
| Minced parsley | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Parmesan cheese | 1 Tablespoon, grated | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°.
Coat a small saucepan with cooking spray; place over medium heat until hot.
Add cabbage, carrot, and green onions; saute 7 minutes or until tender.
Spoon cabbage mixture into a 10 x 6-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray.
Combine milk and next 5 ingredients in a medium bowl; stir well.
Pour over cabbage mixture.
Combine parsley and Parmesan cheese; sprinkle over cabbage mixture.
Bake at 375° for 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
