Ingredients

 1st. Layer
 Butter1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 1/2 cup butterscotch or chocolate bits
 Vanilla1 Teaspoon
 Egg1
 Salt1/4 Teaspoon
 Coconut1 Cup (16 tbs), desiccated
 Walnuts1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Graham cracker crumbs2 Cup (16 tbs)
 2nd. Layer
 Soft butter2 Tablespoon
 Icing Sugar1 Cup (16 tbs), sifted
 Custard powder1 Tablespoon
 Vanilla1/2 Teaspoon
 Milk1 1/2 Tablespoon

Directions

Melt butter and butterscotch bits in top of double boiler.
Cool slightly.
Add remaining ingredients (of first layer).
Mix well.
Press into lightly buttered 8" square pan.
Blend remaining ingredients together.
Spread on top of first layer.
Chill at least 3 hours.
