Coconut Butterscotch Squares Recipe
Ingredients

| Butter | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 cup butterscotch or chocolate bits | ||
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Coconut | 1 Cup (16 tbs), desiccated | |
| Walnuts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Graham cracker crumbs | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2nd. Layer | ||
| Soft butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Icing Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs), sifted | |
| Custard powder | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Vanilla | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Milk | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Melt butter and butterscotch bits in top of double boiler.
Cool slightly.
Add remaining ingredients (of first layer).
Mix well.
Press into lightly buttered 8" square pan.
Blend remaining ingredients together.
Spread on top of first layer.
Chill at least 3 hours.
