Simple Butterscotch Sauce Recipe

1-2 Tbs. cornflour
1/2 oz. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
4 oz. brown sugar
1 pt. milk
Vanilla essence to taste
Directions
Make the sauce by the Blending Method.
Heat the butter and sugar together until liquid.
Stir this into the hot sauce and mix until melted.
Add vanilla essence to taste and serve hot or cold.
