 Butterscotch package1
 Milk1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sugar2 Tablespoon
 Salt1/4 Teaspoon
 Maple flavoring - 1/4 teaspoon or vanilla - 1/2 teaspoon

Directions

GETTING READY
1. Into a saucepan, put together milk, sugar and salt; heat until it simmers.

MAKING
2. Into a blender jar with stirring blades attached, put the chocolate bits and pour hot mixture on top; process for about 10 seconds until smooth.
3. Add maple or vanilla flavouring and process for another 2-3 seconds until well blended.

FINALISING
4. Refrigerate sauce until chill; stir frequently.

SERVING
5. Serve Butterscotch Dessert Sauce over cake slices or ice-creams.
