Homemade Butterscotch Candy Recipe Video

Butterscotch candy is hard but chewy and melts slowly in your mouth. It can be a good mucnhing and there is no bounding to eat it at any time of the day.

Ingredients

 
1/2 c sugar
 
1/4 c brown sugar
 
1/4 c corn syrup
 
1/4 tsp sea salt
 
1/4 tsp vinegar
 
2 tbsp water
 
1/4 c butter
 
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions

Heat a pan and mix sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, salt, vinegar and water. Dissolve the sugars on high heat. Keep stiring. Bring it to boil until the soft ball stage. Add butter and boil till the hard ball stage. Add vanilla stir and remove immediately. Fill the mixture in candy foil. Cool for an hour and the butterscotch candy is ready to eat.
