Butterscotch Apple Dessert Recipe
Ingredients

| Sugar | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Apples | 3 Cup (16 tbs), peeled | |
| Flour | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sifted | |
| Baking soda | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground nutmeg | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cinnamon | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Nuts | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 3/4 c.sugar | ||
| Brown sugar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), firmly packed | |
| Light cream | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Beat eggs well.Add 1 1/2 c.sugar gradually and beat until thick and lemon-colored.
Fold in apple slices.
Sift together 1 1/2 c.flour, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt.
Fold into egg mixture with nuts.
Pour batter in greased 13 x 9 x 2" baking pan.
Bake in 325° oven 50-60 minutes or until done.
Serve warm with butterscotch sauce.
Combine 2 tblsp.flour, 3/4 c. sugar and brown sugar in top of double boiler.
Stir in cream and butter.
Cook over simmering water, stirring occasionally, until thickened
