2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. Soda
Directions
Mix sugar, buttermilk, syrup, soda, salt, cocoa and butter in saucepan.
Cook to soft-ball stage.
Cool; add nuts and vanilla.
Beat until creamy.
Pour onto but- tered platter when candy loses gloss.
Mark into squares
