Buttermilk Fried Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
| Chicken | 3 Pound, cut up | |
| Buttermilk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornmeal | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Seasoned salt | 4 Teaspoon | |
| Black pepper | 1⁄4 Teaspoon | |
| Oil | 4 Cup (64 tbs) |
Directions
Dip chicken in buttermilk.
Combine flour, cornmeal, salt and pepper in a grocery sack.
Place chicken in bag 3 pieces at a time and shake till well coated.
Do an hour ahead if possible, so coating can set.
Heat oil in large frying pan (or wok).
Fry chicken about 30-40 min.in frying pan (15-20 min.in wok) or till done.
Handle chicken as little as possible while frying.
