Buttermilk Chocolate Bread Recipe

Grease bottom only of 8x4 or 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In large bowl, combine sugar and margarine; blend thoroughly.
Add eggs; mix well.
Stir in buttermilk.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
Add flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt and soda.
Stir just until dry particles are moistened.
Stir in nuts.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake at 350°F for 55 to 65 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool upright in pan 15 minutes.
Remove from pan; cool completely before slicing.
