Buttermilk Bran Muffins Recipe

Ingredients

 Hot water1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 1 1/2 cups all bran cereal
 Butter/Margarine1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sugar3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Egg1
 All purpose flour1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Baking powder1 Teaspoon
 Salt1/4 Teaspoon
 Buttermilk1 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Measure water into medium mixing bowl.
MICRO WAVE 2 MINUTES on HIGH, or until water boils.
Stir in cereal.
Add butter.
Let stand until butter is softened.
Beat in sugar and egg.
Blend in flour, baking powder, salt and buttermilk until well mixed.
Spoon into baking cups, filling them half full.
