Butterfish In Sour Cream Recipe

Ingredients
| Butterfish | 2 Pound | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Flour | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| Milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon, melted | |
| Fat for deep frying | ||
| Sour cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| 1 tablespoon minced green onion | ||
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Season fish with salt and pepper.
In a bowl mix 1/2 teaspoon salt, flour, egg, milk and melted butter to form a batter.
Dip fish in this to coat it thoroughly.
In large skillet fry fish in hot, deep fat until golden brown all over.
Drain fish and set on hot platter.
In a saucepan combine sour cream, parsley, onion, and lemon juice until just hot.
Serve over the fried fish.
