Buttered Tagliatelle With Parmesan Recipe

Ingredients

 
2 cups tagliatelle verde
 
1 tablespoon oil
 
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
10 cups boiling water
 
1/4 cup butter
 
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
 
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
 
Fresh herbs to garnish

Directions

1 Place the tagliatelle, oil and salt in a 2.25 litre/4 pint (10 cup) mixing bowl, and pour over the boiling water.
2 Cover with plastic wrap, and pierce. Microwave on full power for 6-7 minutes.
3 Allow to stand, covered, for 5 minutes. Then drain the tagliatelle and rinse with boiling water.
4 Pile into a serving dish. Add butter and parsley and toss using a spoon and fork, until tagliatelle is coated.
5 Top with plenty of Parmesan. Garnish with herbs, and serve immediately.
