Butterball Soup With Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
| Chicken | 1 (Soup:) | |
| Margarine | 1 Tablespoon (Soup:) | |
| Chopped onions | 2 Large, divided (Soup:) | |
| Half and Half | 1/2 Pint (Soup:) |
Directions
Boil chicken and 1 large chopped onion until done.
Cool and remove chicken from bone; set aside.
Add water to broth and bring to boil.
Add Butterballs.
Cook at least 30 minutes.
Add egg noodles (as desired).
Simmer on medium heat 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Melt margarine in large skillet; saute 1 large chopped onion.
Add chicken pieces.
Brown lightly.
Add half and half; simmer until thickened.
