Butter Tarts Recipe
the butter tarts are creamy and soft tarts filled with raisins set in tart shells. Made with eggs, sugar, butter, corn syrup and vanilla for flavor, the raisins gives these tarts a special chewy feel!

1/4 cup corn syrup
3 tbs. soft butter
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vinegar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 cup seedless raisins
Directions
Combine thoroughly sugar, corn syrup and butter.
Add egg, vanilla, vinegar, salt and raisins.
Fill tart shells of pastry 2/3 full of mixture.
Bake at 425F for about 8 minutes then lower heat to 350F and continue baking until filling is set and pastry baked, about 18 minutes longer.
