Butter Sponge Cake Recipe
How can anyone not agree with me that this Butter Sponge Cake is simply delicious? Pamper everyone with Butter Sponge Cake as Dessert. Once you try preparing this Butter Sponge Cake, I am sure you will be making it again!.
Ingredients
2 eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Directions
Beat eggs until thick and light.
Beat in salt, sugar and vanilla.
Heat milk and butter to boiling point; beat in.
Mix and sift flour and baking powder; beat in.
Turn into greased and floured 9-inch square pan.
Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
Remove from pan to rack to cool.
For dunking cut in small squares.
