Butter Rum Sauce Recipe

Butter Rum Sauce is a yummy and sumptuous addition to your cakes. This yummy sauce miraculously sauce heightens the delicious flavor of your cakes. You just have to try the Butter Rum Sauce!

Ingredients

 
1 cup packed brown sugar
 
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
 
1/4 teaspoon salt
 
1/2 cup water
 
1 6-ounce can evaporated milk
 
1/4 cup light corn syrup
 
1/2 cup coarsely chopped salted mixed nuts
 
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
 
2 teaspoons rum flavoring

Directions

In heavy saucepan combine first 3 ingredients; stir in water.
Stir in evaporated milk and syrup.
Cook, stirring constantly, till thickened.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
