Ingredients

 
3 to 4 tablespoons butter or margarine
 
1 large head cabbage (about 2 pounds), shredded
 
2 tablespoons lemon juice
 
1/2 teaspoon caraway seed
 
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Melt butter in a large, heavy frying pan; add cabbage.
Cover and cook, stirring occasionally about 8 to 10 minutes, or just until tender.
Add lemon juice, caraway seed, salt, and pepper.
