Butter Basted Crab Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon peel | 1/4 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Lemon juice | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 1 tablespoon thinly sliced green onion | ||

| 1 teaspoon each finely chopped parsley and soy | ||
| Liquid hot pepper seasoning | ||
| 1 cooked Dungeness crab in the shell 1 1/2 to | ||
| 2 lbs., cleaned and cracked | ||
| Lemon wedges | ||
Directions
Melt butter in a small pan over medium heat; add lemon peel, lemon juice, onion, parsley, and soy sauce.
Season to taste with hot pepper seasoning, then simmer for 3 to 5 minutes.
Rinse crab pieces, pat dry, and arrange in an even layer in a 7- by 11-inch baking dish.
Brush butter mixture over crab, cover, and bake in a 300° oven until heated through about 20 minutes, basting often with pan juices.
Garnish with lemon wedges; provide nutcrackers and small forks for removing meat from shells.
