Butter Almond Coffee Cake Recipe
Ingredients
| All-purpose flour - 1 1/2 cups sifted | ||

| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), melted | |
| Almond flavoring - 3/4 teaspoon | ||
| Almonds | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped (Topping:) | |
| Sugar | 3 Tablespoon (Topping:) | |
| Orange rind | 2 Tablespoon, grated (Topping:) | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1 Grease an 8-inch pan with butter.
2 Set the oven to 375° fahrenheit.
MAKING
3 In a bowl, sift the first 4 ingredients together.
4 In another bowl, beat the eggs well.
5 Stir milk, butter and flavoring, into the eggs.
6 Create a well in the center of dry ingredients and pour in the liquids.
7 Mix lightly.
8 Into the prepared pan, transfer the mixture.
9 Generously sprinkle with topping.
10 Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
SERVING
11 Tastes best buttered and served hot with coffee.
