Busy Day Hash Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1 Large, thinly sliced | |
| Green pepper | 1 , chopped | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Lean ground beef | 1 Pound | |
| 1/4 cup pre cooked rice | ||
| Whole tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz), undrained | |
| Catsup | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Chili powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Black pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Place onion, green pepper and butter in a 2 qt.glass casserole dish.
Cover and microwave 2 to 3 minutes or until tender.
Crumble meat and add to vegetables.
Cover and microwave 5 minutes or until meat loses pink color.
Stir once during cooking.
Drain and crumble meat.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Cover and microwave 8 to 10 minutes stirring once during cooking.
Cover and microwave 2 to 3 minutes or until tender.
