Burgers Extravaganza Recipe
Ingredients
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs | ||
| Dried oregano | 1/4 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Fennel seed | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 teaspoon onion salt | ||
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Ground beef | 1 1/2 Pound | |
| 1/2 pound bulk pork sausage | ||
| American Cheese slice | 8 | |
| Onion | 8 | |
| 8 hamburger buns, split, toasted, and buttered | ||
Directions
In bowl combine egg, water, bread crumbs, oregano, fennel, garlic salt, onion.salt, and pepper.
Add ground beef and sausage; mix well.
Form into 8 patties, 1/2 inch thick.
Grill burgers over'medium coals for 6 to 7 minutes.
Turn and cook 6 to 7 minutes more.
Top each patty with a cheese and onion slice; serve on toasted buns.
