Burger Tomato Towers Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 pounds ground round or chuck | ||
| Seasoned salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Tomatoes | 2 Large | |
| Mushroom | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Butter/Margarine | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Hamburger buns | 3 , toasted | |
Directions
1. Mix ground beef lightly with seasoned salt; shape into 6 patties about 1-inch thick.
2. Panfry over medium heat 4 minutes on each side for rare, or until meat is done as you like it.
3. While meat cooks, remove stem ends from tomatoes; cut each tomato crosswise into 3 thick slices. Drain mushrooms, saving liquid for Step 4. Saute the tomato slices and mushroom caps in butter or margarine in a second large skillet, turning tomatoes once, just until heated through.
4. Place a meat patty on each bun-half on a heated serving platter. Heat liquid from mushrooms in same skillet; spoon over patties. Top each with a tomato slice; garnish with mushroom caps and, if you wish, sprigs of fresh parsley.
