Bulgur Wheat "Sausage" Patties are delicious patties which goes along with most. Bulgur Wheat "Sausage" Patties have become one of my family's favorites as it is soo good. Sumptuous is the word!

Ingredients
2 cups (480 ml) Bulgur Wheat, cooked (1 cup [240 ml] raw)
1 tbs (15 ml) crushed basil leaves
1 egg
3/4 tsp (4 ml) sage
3/4 tsp (4 ml) poultry seasoning sea salt to taste, optional
1/4 cup (60 ml) Whole Wheat Flour
3/4 cup (180 ml) grated cheddar cheese, optional oil or nonstick spray
Directions
Mix the bulgur wheat, egg, basil, sage, poultry seasoning, salt and optional cheese together.
Chill slightly.
Form into patties and dip in whole wheat flour.
Fry in a small amount of oil until lightly browned.
These may be wrapped in individual packages and reheated.
Cook like hamburger meat or add to casseroles in place of meat.
