Buffet Brunch Recipe
Taste this unique recipe for Butter Brunch - a wonderful mix of sausages and egg in margarine. The very sight of this Butter Brunch can make you go drooling- it's that delicious!
Ingredients
Link sausages - 1 pound, cut apart and lightly pricked
Butter or margarine - 1 tablespoon
Fine bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
Parsley or chives - 1 tablespoon, minced
Paprika - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Rich cream - 1/2 cup
Eggs - 6
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to 325° F.
MAKING
2) Take a heat-proof baking dish and place sausages on the upper shelf inside cold oven.
3) Bake sausages for about 25 minutes or until nicely browned.
4) Drain fat and turn the sausages several times.
5) In the meanwhile, butter 6 flat shirring or baking dishes.
6) Take a bowl and combine bread crumbs, paprika, parsley and salt. Dust with the mixture.
7) Spoon 2 teaspoons of cream and carefully break one egg into each dish.
8) Spoon about 2 teaspoons cream over each egg,
9) Arrange the dishes on a cookie sheet and bake on the lower shelf for about 15-20 minutes or until firm at a temperature of 325° F.
SERVING
