Ingredients

 450 g ground buffalo meat
 Beef suet150 Gram
 5 large, pared and chopped apples
 Raisins3 Kilogram
 Apple cider500 Milliliter
 Molasses250 Milliliter
 60 ml fine julienne cut lemon rind
 60 ml fine julienne cut orange rind
 5 ml ground cinnamon - or more to taste

Directions

Cook the buffalo in the suet.
Cool and remove all the fat.
Mix all the remaining ingredients with the meat in a Dutch oven.
Cook gently for 2 hours.
Cool and use in pies or tartlets.
