Buddha Bowl Recipe

In my personal opinion, this Buddha Bowl stands Numero Uno in the world and I cannot contain my urge to offer this to you. Indulge yourself in this Buddha Bowl as Main Dish. A delicious Buddha Bowl gets its taste from Vegetable. One trial wont be enough for this Buddha Bowl recipe, I am sure you will be making it again!.

Ingredients

 
8 broccoli flowerets
 
4 carrots, cut in quarters
 
8 summer squash, halved
 
4 zucchini, halved
 
1 tsp gomasio sesame salt
 
4 cups cooked brown rice
 
Cheddar cheese (optional)
 
Tarmari soy sauce

Directions

Steam broccoli, carrots, summer squash, and zucchini until crisp-tender, and season with gomasio salt.
Spoon 1 cup of hot brown rice into each of 4 small, oven-proof bowls.
Top each bowl of rice with 2 broccoli flowerets, 4 quarters of carrot, 4 halves of summer squash, 2 halves of zucchini.
Since cheese is allowed occasionally in the macrobiotic diet, try a sprinkling of Cheddar cheese over the top of the rice.
Put bowls under the broiler for a minute or two until cheese melts.
Tarmari soy sauce may be substituted for the cheese topping.
