Buckwheat Groats Vegetable Bake Recipe
Ingredients
2 caps cooked buckwheat groats
2 cups cooked brown rice
3 cups steamed diced vegetables, such as celery, carrot, turnip, parsnip, green pepper, and potatoes
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Salt to taste
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
2. Combine the groats, rice, vegetables, and 1 cup of the cheese in a bowl. Add salt to taste and mix well.
3. Turn into an oiled 3-quart casserole or ovenproof bowl. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top and bake for 40 minutes.
