Brussels Sprouts With Water Chestnuts, Garlic And Mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 tbsp / 15 g / 1/2 oz butter or margarine | ||
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Brussels sprouts | 5 Cup (16 tbs), trimmed | |
| 1 1/2 cups / 100 g / 4 oz mushrooms, sliced | ||
| 1 scant cup / 200 g / 7 oz canned water chestnuts, drained | ||
| Soy sauce | ||
Directions
Put the butter in a dish and cook for 30 seconds. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add the sprouts, mushrooms and water chestnuts, with 15 ml / 1 tbsp of the chestnut liquid. Cover and cook for 3 - 4 minutes, until hot through. Season with soy sauce.
