Ingredients
3 tbsp (45 ml) butter
1 onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, finely sliced
1/2 green bell pepper, diced
14 oz (398 ml) canned tomatoes
1 1/2 cups (375 ml) Brussels sprouts, halved
1/2 tsp (2 ml) chopped basil
Salt and pepper
Directions
– In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and saute onion, garlic, and pepper for 4 minutes. Add tomatoes and Brussels sprouts.
– Season mixture with basil, salt, and pepper and bring to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
