Brussels Sprouts Recipe

Directions
Trim the sprouts and discard the loose outside leaves.
Soak them in cold salted water for a half hour.
Put them in a pan of boiling salted water and cook until tender but still firm.
If the sprouts are really fresh and small, they will be cooked in 10 to 15 minutes.
Drain them well, glaze with butter, sprinkle with black pepper, and serve at once.
It is most important not to overcook sprouts.
They should retain a definite "bite" under your teeth.
