2 pkg (10-oz size) frozen brussels sprouts
Cheese Sauce:
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
3/4 teaspoon salt
Dash pepper
Dash cayenne
1 cup milk or light cream
1 cup grated natural sharp Cheddar cheese (1/4 lb)

How to make Brussel Sprouts in Cheese Sauce

Using a large saucepan, cook brussels sprouts as package label directs.
(Cook about 8 minutes or until tender.)
Make Cheese Sauce:
In small saucepan, slowly melt butter (do not brown); remove from heat;
stir in flour, mustard, salt, pepper, cayenne and milk until smooth.
Bring to boiling, stirring until thickened.
Reduce heat; add cheese; cook, stirring, until cheese is melted and mixture is smooth.
Drain brussels sprouts; turn them back into saucepan.
Heat slightly to dry out.
Pour cheese sauce over top.
Makes 6 servings
