Ingredients

 4 slices Italian-style or sourdough bread
 2 large cloves garlic, cut in half lengthwise
 Extra virgin olive oil1 Tablespoon

Directions

Toast the bread under a broiler about 5" from the heat or on a grill.
While still hot, rub one side of each slice with the garlic, pressing the juice into the toast.
Spread the olive oil over the garlic-rubbed side of the toast with a brush or your fingers.
