Ingredients
1 cup frozen chopped onion
1/4 cup dry white wine
Few drops bottled red pepper seasoning
1 can condensed golden mushroom soup
1 can (8 ounces) tomatoes
1 package (10 ounces) frozen okra, separated
1 package (10 ounces) frozen Fordhook lima beans, separated
4 ears fresh corn, cut into 1 inch pieces
OR: 1 package (10 ounces) frozen whole kernel corn, separated
1 package (1 pound, 12 ounces to 2 pounds) frozen fried chicken pieces
Directions
Simmer onion in wine and red pepper seasoning in a large saucepan 5 minutes; add soup and tomatoes; bring to boiling; add okra, lima beans and corn; return to boiling.
Combine frozen chicken pieces in a 12 cup casserole with vegetable mixture; cover casserole.
Bake in moderate oven (375°) for 45 minutes, or until bubbling hot.
Serve with hot biscuits.
