Microwave Brunswick Stew Recipe

Ingredients
2 1/2 to 3 pound chicken, cut into serving pieces
1 can (16 oz.) whole tomatoes, chopped
1 1/4 cups water, divided
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 teaspoons salt
2 bay leaves, crushed
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 package (10 oz.) frozen succotash, partially defrosted
1 package (10 oz.) frozen sliced okra, partially defrosted
1/4 cup flour
Directions
In 3-quart casserole, combine chicken, tomatoes, 1 cup water, onion, salt, bay leaves and pepper.
Cover with lid.
Cook at HIGH 7 minutes and at MEDIUM 14 to 16 minutes.
Stir once.
Stir in succotash and okra; recover.
Cook at HIGH 10 to 12 minutes; stir once.
Blend flour with remaining 1/4 cup water until smooth.
Stir into liquid.
Cook at HIGH 5 to 6 minutes, or until thickened.
Cover with lid.
Cook at HIGH 7 minutes and at MEDIUM 14 to 16 minutes.
